If you join us to PLAY, you can expect:
- 11 weeks (+ foul weather date) of adult RECREATIONAL for-fun coed softball
- For players 40+, meet and compete with other players of a similar age and experience
- A sport philosophy where it's just as much about the social as it is about the softball!
- Teams are a mix of new and experienced players, with varying skill levels, all playing with a for-fun attitude. 
- Make a day of it! The whole family will enjoy this park with its playground, soccer field, shady picnic trees, and close proximity to hiking trails and attractions (like Sifton Bog and Springbank Park). Adults will enjoy the shade of covered dugouts, a first-class well-maintained diamond, convenient west-end location, and bonus 5-min drive to the golf course!
- A rotating FCSSC Game Host to answer questions and make introductions.
- One ‘foul weather’ reschedule date in the event that games should be cancelled due to poor weather conditions. **REMINDER** Your foul weather day is scheduled before playoffs, on Sunday Aug 10!

Due to sometimes inconsistent attendance on the weekends, indy teams on SUNDAYS and FRIDAYS will be rostered to a maximum of 15 players. Full team signups may roster as few or as many players as required to field a team each week.

- 6 weeks of top flight instruction from coaches with Fanshawe Golf School
- 3 weeks (weather pending) of outdoor lessons at Crumlin Creek Golf, followed by 3 weeks of indoor lessons with specialized equipment to allow for indoor play
- A welcoming environment for all skill levels from first time playing to experienced
- An assessment of your grip, alignment, posture and stance to coach you through eliminating bad habits and improving your game play experience
- No clubs needed! Golf instructors are able to provide loaner clubs, given FCSSC has been notified in advance to make this arrangement.
- 1:5 player to coach ratio
- All participants will have free access to Fanshawe Golf Coaches School's video library - over 10,000 golf videos covering every possible part of the game.

Been wanting to try pickleball, but not sure where to start? This is the IDEAL LEAGUE for anyone wanting to learn in a fun and welcoming environment, with others at your skill level!

Intended for beginners, our 7-week instructor-led Rookies Only Pickleball Introduction will give you:
- A recommended introduction to the game for new players and beginners, setting the foundation for future pickleball development and participation
- Lessons starting with the basics of the game such as rules, scoring, paddle grip, court movement and positioning
- Learning and practice of essential skills like serve & return, forehands, backhands, volleys and dinks
- Directed gameplay with courtside coaching, with and against other rookies
- No equipment required - we provide paddles, balls, and everything you need to get started!

Registration for this program is individual only, but pairs and small groups are welcome! Each person just has to sign up independently.

Classes are formed by grouping members with similar levels of experience together, so you'll learn and practice the pickleball skills most relevant to your game. Listed friend/partner requests will be respected, but we cannot guarantee which one-hour timeslot you will play in. Please be prepared to play at any of the times listed.

FCSSC Rookie Pickleball (Development) is considered a "Step 2" to the Rookie Pickleball (Introduction) program, designed for those who have previously participated in our Rookie (Instructional) or Rookie (Introduction) programs, understand the rules, and/or want to build on the fundamental skills. - Lessons to practice and build on the foundations to develop greater consistency, control, and comfort on the court

- Reseeding, if needed, of the league to keep competition fun!

This league is self-officiated and for-fun, but is created for players at the C level. Players in this league can expect:
- Opponents that have at least a few years of experience
- Teams trying to get three touches and possession that usually ends with an attack
- Positional play and control of the ball
If your pro days are behind you but you still love the game and want to play, this is the league for you!

Less experienced players are encouraged to sign up for FCSSC's recreational volleyball options.

Been wanting to try pickleball, but not sure where to start? This is the IDEAL LEAGUE for anyone wanting to learn in a fun and welcoming environment, with others at your skill level!

Intended for beginners, our 6-week instructor-led Rookies Only Pickleball Introduction will give you:
- A recommended introduction to the game for new players and beginners, setting the foundation for future pickleball development and participation
